Ian Thomas is very pleased to have been invited to speak at a Food Law Conference at the Business Accountability and Responsibility Centre (BARC) on Wednesday, 27th February 2013. Ian will be speaking about the challenges for regulators and food business operators during a food crisis and he will be looking at issues arising from the current horsemeat in burgers crisis. The event is being held at the Newport Business School, Newport, South Wales.
The other speakers are; Dr Lisa Ackerley, “How to stay off TV and out of Court”; Kathryn Gilbertson, “The reality of prosecution” and Dominic Watkins, “Changes to food law – EU integration at work?”. The Conference Chair is David Travers QC, 6 Pump Court, Temple, London.
