I am pleased and proud to announce that I have been awarded a Master of Laws in Food Law from Liverpool John Moores University.
This follows more than 2 years of part-time study whilst practising as a food and regulatory lawyer at Gough Square Chambers, London and at Ian Thomas Associates, Ireland.
I would like to thank everyone at Informa Connect and at LJMU for all their hard work administering the course and providing quality lectures and lecturers.
My particular thanks and gratitude go to Elizabeth Dunphy for supervising my dissertation. Liz is a very experienced food safety practitioner, and her advice, guidance and encouragement during the preparation of my dissertation was invaluable.
My dissertation is entitled “Does the current regime for the supervision and enforcement of food law provide an adequate balance between the protection of consumers’ health and the protection of the interests of the conscientious food business operator?”
