Ian Thomas is pleased to be a speaker at this free event which will take place at 6 pm on Thursday, 30th May 2013 at the Osprey Business Campus in Naas. Ian will discuss the importance of businesses understanding the regulatory framework that applies to food and non-food consumer products. He will look at some key aspects of legal compliance for organisations and their products such as registration and approval and labelling and product safety.
The consequences of failing to comply with applicable rules and regulations include having your products recalled from the market and companies and individuals being prosecuted in the criminal courts. Ian will look at ways to avoid problems arising and, if things do go wrong, he will provide some useful tips on how best to respond quickly and effectively to minimise the damage to business, brand and reputation.
Other speakers at the Workshop are Terry Daly of Thinktwice, New Product Development and Innovation and Eilis Quinlan, Quinlan and Co Chartered Accountants. They will provide useful information about setting up and financing your business and how to turn your ideas for new products into reality.
The three experienced speakers will provide valuable practical information and guidance to help small businesses successfully develop their current offer and/or explore new and exciting business opportunities.
